Peer Support & Coaching
I wanted to share a little bit about how I support people and what working together looks like.
My name is Cristine. I’m a Certified Peer Support Specialist, a Trauma-Informed Mental Wellness Coach, and a Somatic Life Coach. While I have completed various trainings and certifications over the years, the thing that most shapes how I support people is my lived experience.
I know what it feels like to have experiences that change you. I know what it feels like to try to find your footing again afterward. I know what it feels like to be looking for people who understand.
That is what led me here.
For me, this work is not about fixing people. It is not about becoming an authority over someone’s life. It is about creating a space where people can be honest, reconnect with themselves, and feel supported while navigating whatever they are carrying.
This is not therapy. It is peer support and coaching rooted in connection, autonomy, mindfulness, harm reduction, and respect for your ability to make decisions about your own life.
I see our work together as a collaboration. Two people sitting down together, exploring what is happening, what matters to you, and what support might look like moving forward.
Why I Do This Work
One of the things I have learned is that healing often happens in relationship.
Sometimes what helps us move forward is having someone witness our story. Sometimes it is having a space where we can finally be honest. Sometimes it is learning how to feel safe in our bodies again, trust ourselves again, or reconnect with parts of ourselves that got buried beneath trauma, survival, or systems that told us who we were supposed to be.
Supporting others through these experiences is deeply meaningful to me. Every conversation reminds me why community matters and why none of us should have to carry everything alone.
Peer Support Groups
In addition to one-on-one sessions, I facilitate peer support groups for people who have experienced psychiatric incarceration, psychiatric trauma, or harmful experiences within psychiatric systems.
Groups can be powerful because they remind us that we are not alone. There is something healing about being in a room with people who understand parts of your experience without needing lengthy explanations.
These groups are centered around connection, honesty, mutual support, and community. They are spaces where people can share their stories, learn from one another, and remember that there are others walking similar paths.
Healing After Hospitalization
Leaving a psychiatric hospital can be a strange and disorienting experience.
Many people find themselves trying to make sense of what happened, rebuilding trust in themselves, navigating relationships, or simply adjusting to everyday life again.
These sessions are a space to talk about those experiences openly. Together we can explore what hospitalization meant for you, how it impacted you, and what support might help as you move forward.
My goal is not to tell you who you are or what your healing should look like. My goal is to support you in reconnecting with your own voice, your own choices, and your own sense of safety.
One-on-One Peer Support & Coaching

These ongoing virtual sessions are designed to provide a consistent space for support, reflection, and growth.
Some people come to process psychiatric trauma. Some come to talk through life challenges, relationships, identity, nervous system awareness, or personal goals. Some simply want a space where they can be fully themselves without feeling judged.
Every person is different.
There is no script. There is no expectation that you need to arrive with everything figured out.
We start wherever you are.
Together we might explore difficult experiences, practice mindfulness and self-awareness, work through challenges, build routines that support your wellbeing, reconnect with your strengths, or simply spend time making sense of what life is asking of you right now.
How We Can Connect
The first step is a free 30-minute consultation.
This is simply a chance for us to meet, talk, ask questions, and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.
If you decide you would like ongoing support, we can schedule regular 60-minute sessions.
The cost is $45 per session.
More importantly, the consultation gives us a chance to connect as human beings before deciding whether moving forward together makes sense.
Ready To Begin?
If you are looking for support, connection, understanding, or simply someone to walk alongside you for a while, I would be honored to meet you.
You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
You do not need to have the right words.
You only need to show up as you are.
If that sounds like something you are looking for, I invite you to schedule a free consultation and we can start the conversation.
